BetterTrolley was launched by Robert Palmer in September 2006. It offers a flash map of San Diego's trolley network, with convenient links to the agency's trip-planning functionality. It includes a system to allow riders to send real-time updates as text messages. It also offers boarding and fare information, as well as other tidbits about the vehicles.
